Pastor Kanita L. Washington is an internationally recognized psalmist, preacher, and conference speaker whose ministry is marked by the profound discernment and transformative power of the Holy Spirit. With a distinct prophetic mantle, she delivers messages that inspire spiritual renewal and personal growth.
Throughout her ministry, Pastor Kanita has been deeply shaped by divine encounters, through which she has received an impartation of God’s love, power, wisdom, and compassion. Her calling is to bring healing and restoration to those who are wounded, broken, and in need of hope. She is committed to ministering not only through the spoken word but also through prophetic worship, where many have testified to experiencing healing and deliverance under the anointing of her voice.
As Assistant Pastor at Oracle of God’s Temple, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing ministry efforts, nurturing the spiritual growth of the congregation, and assisting in the overall leadership of the church. In this capacity, she also provides guidance and support for church members, helping to equip them for service in the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Kanita has been called to minister globally, bringing prophetic insight and worship to churches and international platforms. Her unique ability to merge theology with worship has positioned her as a dynamic voice in the faith community.
In addition to her ministry, Pastor Kanita is an accomplished author and playwright. Her book, Prophetic Triumphs: Handling Life’s Most Challenging Transitions (2016), provides spiritual and practical guidance for navigating life’s difficulties. She has also made significant contributions to gospel music, including the release of her single, Blessings, Blessings (2019). With a passion for the dramatic arts, she continues to explore creative avenues to minister through storytelling and performance.
Pastor Kanita holds a Master of Science in Health and Human Services from Coppin State University and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Health Administration (Ph.D.). Her academic and theological pursuits reflect her commitment to leadership, service, and equipping the body of Christ through both spiritual and intellectual engagement.
